Dyslexia Sparks offers a range of services to support schools, including teacher training, dyslexia assessments, and parent sessions such as coffee mornings.

Our team of specialists work with schools and SENCOs, supporting them to support dyslexic students.

Diagnostic assessments for pupils

  • Formally diagnose dyslexia (if present)
  • Detailed overview of pupil’s strengths & areas for development
  • Give recommendations for in-class and additional support
  • Clear feedback delivered to school staff and pupil’s parents

Training for Teachers

  • Enables staff to identify dyslexic pupils
  • Provides strategies to support dyslexic learners in the classroom
  • Delivered in school
  • Bespoke training to suit the individual needs of the school

Funding

Diagnostic Assessments for Schools

We deliver diagnostic assessments for specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) dyslexia and dyscalculia for Hull and East Riding schools.

Dyslexia Sparks supports schools in Hull and East Yorkshire with diagnostic assessments for specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) dyslexia and dyscalculia.

The results give a formal diagnosis if dyslexia or dyscalculia is present. Plus a detailed insight into individual strengths and areas of difficulty; as well as preferred learning styles and techniques.
