Become a Trustee

Support the region’s only charity for dyslexia

Make a difference to the lives of dyslexic children and adults in Hull and East Yorkshire

We are recruiting for committed and skilled individuals to complement our Trustee Board. Trustees share our vision for a world where dyslexic individuals are recognised and celebrated for the unique talents and strengths that they have to offer.

We have had substantial growth in the last few years and as the region’s only charity for dyslexia and associated specific learning difficulties (SPLDs), it is critical – now more than ever before – that we continue our vital work.

Your Commitment

As a Trustee, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued success of our charity. You’ll be a great ambassador for our charity – using your skills, experience and commitment to support Dyslexia Sparks in achieving our mission and vision. By providing governance, mentorship and strategic input, you’ll help to support a wider range of families in the future. You’ll attend four board meetings per year online, and attend other relevant events where possible.

How to Apply

If this sounds like something you’re interested in, contact us with your CV and some information on how you could contribute to our charity, what role you could play for us, and any other information you think is relevant.

Please contact our main office with the attention of the Founding Director Jane Craig – [email protected]
