Would you like a better understanding of how relaxation can support mental health?
Would you like to learn fun mindfulness techniques that can support your child’s and your own emotional wellbeing?
Join Dyslexia Sparks’ FREE online parent/carer support group – Thursday 9th February 10am to 11am – for a workshop focused on supporting mental health through relaxation with Relax Kids.
Led by Louise Savage – Director of Phoenix Wellbeing CIC and Relax Kids Hull and East Riding – this session will provide an overview of Relax Kids’ uniqueseven-step holistic approach that helps children begin to recognise the connection between their mind and body.
The Relax Kids programme teaches children what is happening in their brain when they experience big feelings and supports their mental and emotional wellbeing through learning a range of creative techniques that help calm body and mind, and build confidence and self-esteem.
Places are free but limited and must be booked in advance on our Eventbrite page. A recording of the session will be sent to all registered attendees after the event.
Dyslexia Sparks is Hull and East Yorkshire’s only registered charity for dyslexia. The session is held as part of our free, monthly online parent support group which often features key topics and guest speakers. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to be kept up to date with our latest news and events.
